The first time I listened to this song, I was captivated by it. At first it sounds like a breakup song, but after I researched the meaning of the song, I learned that the lead singer, Oliver Sykes, wrote this about the incoming climate crisis. After learning that, the song took on a whole new meaning, and a much darker one than just a breakup. However, this song also joins two of my favorite bands ever! I’ve been a huge Evanescence (the band Amy Lee sings for) fan ever since I was eight years old. So to hear these two come together to create something was like a dream come true.
